Mahalakshmi Temple: -

Mahalakshmi temple is one of the famous Tourist Places In and Nearby Kolhapur. It is also known as Ambabai Mandir, a Hindu temple of Goddess Lakshmi. Mahalakshmi temple is built in 7^th century and is one of the six abodes of “Shakti“ (Goddess of Power).

Jyotiba Temple is Hindu temple of Lord Jyotiba, situated near Wadi Ratnagiri 20 Km from Kolhapur Maharashtra. Interior of temple is ancient. Lord Jyotiba is an avatar of three idols of Brahma, Vishnu, Maheshwar. It is believed that this temple should be visited after visiting Mahalakshmi temple as jyotiba helped mahalakshmi in her fight with demons and stayed on this mountain.

Narsinhwadi Datta Mandir is a Hindu temple of Narsinh Saraswati. It is in Narsobawadi 50 Km from Kolhapur Maharashtra. Narsinh Saraswati is awatar of Lord Dattaterya. This temple is on the bank of river Krishna. According to history, Narsinh Saraswati Swami Stayed here for 12 years .In addition to this many saints have visited here including Shree Tembe Swami. Binkhambi Ganesh Temple: -

Binkhambi is a Hindu temple dedicates to Lord Ganesha and is close to Mahalaxmi temple Kolhapur Maharashtra. It is one of the religious tourist place to visit near Kolhapur. Siddhagiri is a sculpture museum with old Shiva which is 42 feet idol temple on the ground. Installation of Shivling was in 14^th century. The museum is spreads over 7-acres and shows a entire village life, inside this museum it has many idols and statues. As a result many tourists visit this place to see the museum with refreshing surrounding scenery.

Rankala Lake:- 

Rankala Lake is a fresh water lake in Kolhapur about 2-3Km from centre of city. It is also among top tourist places to visit in Kolhapur as it has natural beauty and refreshing surrounding. Rankala is constructed by Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj. It Covers 107 hectares area. In Addition Shalalini Palace and Padma Raje garden added to its beauty.

New Palace/ Shri Chatrapati shahu Museum:-

New Palace also known as Shri Chatrapati Shahu museum which is about 2-3 Km from center of city. The construction was started in 1877 and took 7 years for completion that is in 1884. The architecture is build in black polish stones. It is also among top tourist places to visit in Kolhapur as it has natural beauty and refreshing surrounding with zoo and ground lake.

There is a clock in the middle of the tower which signals every hours. The museum has collection of Chatrapatis Costumes, Weapons, Jewelry, Embroidery , Aurangzeb's swords. Animals Like stuffed Tigers, Tiger head, wild Dog, Dear, Buffalo, Lion, Black Panther, Deer, Black Bear Etc.
